Telethon, Western Australia's most loved televised charity appeal, kicks off Saturday October 21, 2006 at 7:40pm and continues for 25 hours with non-stop fun at the Perth Convention & Exhibition Centre.

Telethon 2006 promises to be bigger and better than ever attracting the best talent from the Seven Network. Joining us for Telethon 2006 from:

Highlights to look out for at this years Telethon!

  • Tickets purchased for the opening audience of Telethon will also include FREE ENTRY into the Spring Home Show .

Tickets to the opening and closing show may be purchased from Ticketmaster for only $19.95 plus booking fee and are on sale now. Group and Family discounts are available. Entry for all other times will be an optional gold coin donation at the doors of the Perth Centre Auditorium.

Telethon Marketing Manager, Nicola Bedwood, stated that 'it's rare that people can experience this quality of line up for such terrific value and at the same time knowing that all proceeds go directly to Telethon for the benefit of the children of Western Australia'.

Telethon is a family day out with great entertainment and loads of atmosphere. This year as well as the action on the main stage, visitors can also enjoy the Home Building Society Kids Carnival in Pavilion 2 at the Perth Centre. Entry to the Carnival is free. Mix 94.5 will be broadcasting live and there's a celebrity signing stage where the public can meet their favourite stars including Fat Cat!

Visitors to Telethon at the Perth Centre will be able to park at any Wilson Parking car parking station in the Perth CBD for just $5.00 a bay for the entire day.

The television broadcast commences on Channel Seven at 7.40pm Saturday the 21st of October and ends at 8.30pm on Sunday the 22nd of October 2006 .
