A TRIBUTE TO PETER BROCK

SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 10 AT 7.30PM ON SEVEN

Australian motorsport legend and 'Holden man' Peter Brock will be remembered with a special Seven News presentation, A TRIBUTE TO PETER BROCK on SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 10 AT 7.30PM.

The tribute - to be hosted by Sunrise presenter and V8 Supercar driver Grant Denyer and Chris Bath - will pay homage to Brock's illustrious racing career, including the ten Bathurst 1000 titles that propelled him to undisputed 'King of the Mountain' status.

Denyer, who was also competing in the Targa West rally that claimed Brock's life said the 61 year-old's passing was a black day for Australia racing.

"As a competitor and as an Australian, Brockie's enthusiasm and raw ability shone like a beacon that led the way for the rest of us to follow. His love of his fans his unsurpassed track success made him Mr Motorsport in Australia . We will sorely miss our hero Peter Brock," said Denyer.

"He was a terrific Australian and I'm honoured to present this tribute to his life."

SEVEN NEWS: A TRIBUTE TO PETER BROCK will include interviews with Brock's close friends, colleagues and longtime competitors who knew the man his fans came to know as 'Peter Perfect'.
