AMAZING RACE #1 PROGRAM IN PERTH

HOME AND AWAY 42,000 VIEWERS AHEAD OF BIG BROTHER

Last Thursday night ' s episode of The Amazing Race featured the contestants finding their way though Perth , Fremantle and Rottnest, and didn ' t Perth viewers love it! The Amazing Race was Perth ' s most watched program last week with 255,659 viewers (it peaked at 270,000 viewers). The series continues this Thursday night at 9:30pm from the Fremantle Sailing Club then to the Bell Tower in Perth and then from Perth Airport to Darwin in the Northern Territory.

Seven ' s long-running Home and Away continues to be among Perth ' s favourite programs. Last week it averaged 180,338 viewers each night, 42,014 viewers ahead of Big Brother and 61,924 ahead of Temptation.

Seven Perth won week twelve of the 2006 official television ratings period last week by 7.1 share points. The results were:

ABC 15.0

This year Seven Perth has won 18 of the 20 weeks.

Seven also had 8 of the top 10 programs telecast in Perth last week.
