SEVEN'S SUPER SATURDAY

It's a super Saturday of sport on Seven this weekend when our coverage of the Davis Cup is capped off with AAMI Golden Slipper Day.

All the live action begins at10amfrom Kooyong Tennis Club inMelbournewith the quarter final tie between Australia and Belarus hosted and commentated by SANDY ROBERTS with expert commentary from JOHN ALEXANDER. Having screened the singles rubbers on Friday, Saturday will see the doubles match on Seven and Sunday the reverse singles.

And while the four-man Aussie squad is led by world No. 12 Lleyton Hewitt and also features towering left-hander Chris Guccione, it will be doubles specialists Wayne Arthurs and Paul Hanley who we'll be watching battle it out on Saturday against Belarusians Max Mirnyi and Vladimir Voltchkov.

Then at 12pm on Saturday (or after the completion of the tennis) we'll cross to AAMI Golden Slipper Day live from Rosehill Gardens, where a whopping five Group One events will be taking place. BRUCE MCAVANEY and SIMON MARSHALL will host the coverage alongside PETER DONEGAN in the mounting yard, ADAM PEACOCK in the betting ring, horseback interviewer JOHN LETTS, race caller MARK SHEAN and reporters KYLIE GILLIES and MICHAEL FELGATE.

We'll see the running of The Arrowfield Stud Stakes, The Queen Of The Turf Stakes, The Cathay Pacific George Ryder Stakes, The BMW and of course, the AAMI Golden Slipper. The latter is in its 50 th year and is renowned for being the world's richest race for two year old thoroughbreds.

But AAMI Golden Slipper Day isn't just a fantastic day of racing, it's a showcase of style where Sydney 's finest congregate. For this reason, Fashions On The Field is also very popular with more than $60,000 in prizes up for grabs.
