The Seven Network's new television drama series has had a title change - HEADLAND.

Formerly with the working title of Campus, HEADLAND comes from the successful team behind Home and Away and All Saints.

The series is set in the town of South Heads on the Southern Eastern coastline of Australia. The Headland Hotel and South Coast University are the centre of the show and home to many of the program's characters. HEADLAND follows the loves and lives of the students and their families.

JOHN HOLMES, executive producer for Drama at Seven says, "Headland seemed a natural choice - not only because the name references the geography of the location, the Headland's hotel set on Wollongong's dramatic coast line where our characters live and hang out, but also the world of the student mind through learning and counselling".

We enter the world of South Heads along with newly appointed student counsellor, Adam Wilde (played by CONRAD COLEBY). Through him and fellow counsellor Grace (played by LIBBY TANNER) we will venture with them into the minds of the students as they deal with the pressures of study, the frustrations of everyday life, and the heartbreak of shattered loves.

"We are well into shooting the series and very excited about the early footage and the cast", John Holmes says.

HEADLAND is produced by JO PORTER and Network Script Executive is BEVAN LEE.

LIBBY TANNER and CONRAD COLEBY lead an amazing ensemble of familiar and new faces. HEADLAND stars SAM ATWELL, JOSH QUONG TART, RACHAEL TAYLOR, MATTHEW TAYLOR, BROOKE HARMAN, SOPHIE KATINIS, JODY KENNEDY, ADRIENNE PICKERING and RESHAD STRIK.
